Profession: Art Director

Description:

About Tom

When he's not out fighting bad design, leaping poor advertising in a single

bound and pulling creative ideas from a burning building, he's usually

thinking about something related to his field.

Whether collecting comic books, watching movies or listening to music, he

surrounds himself with things that are creative or design-driven. His first

creative love may have been comic books, but design is what drives him.

Dream job: Opening the first ever design shop, comicbook store, sports bar,

gym and movie theater multiplex.

CAREER SYNOPSIS

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed helping organizations with conservative communication budgets establish affordable, effective and unique identities.   As an individual, I enjoy seeing my efforts benefit clients and their stakeholders. It is important that my work opens opportunities for others to benefit and grow.

I have worked with Chambers of Commerce, Homebuilders Associations, planned unit developments, and other non-profit organizations.  Projects have entailed producing and promoting events such as the Parade of Homes, launching the premier issue of the Lake Gaston Tour Guide and Map, and leading marketing and fund-raising efforts for the Hocutt-Ellington Library Annex building project.
